Triumph releases new teaser video of the Tiger 900 in Cape Town
The Triumph Tiger 800 is still a popular hit among adventure riders – even those who remain stalwartly loyal to KTM and BMW admit that they also, kinda, sorta like the Tiger also. The 800 was released in 2010 and has been subject to various updates since then, however, has resisted the temptation to throw in bigger pistons and adopt numerically more superior name.
Triumph gave hints at a 900 Tiger two months ago but has now released a more thorough video:
They hint at a Rally and a GT version with both names being seemingly self-explanatory. Apart from that, there is very little else being revealed apart from a new “angrier” headlight. However, it should be very good, and we know this because the previous model, right from the original 2010, is very good. And it should suit South Africa perfectly. Afterall, and some readers may have already picked up on this, the above video was shot in Cape Town.
The official unveiling will be on 3 December.
