Triumph Motorcycles Tri-Demo Day
Saturday 14 July 2018
As has been reported repeatedly, Triumph is back in the country and they have a new dealership set up in South Road, Sandton. As impressive as this new setup is, it is still very much temporary having taken over the now defunct Fury GM showroom, and are building a stand alone Triumph building in Woodmead due to be opened in March next year.
Triumph South Africa has gone further than simply opening a new dealership, but have a range of demo models available for test rides, and so a demo day was immanent. Thus Triumph South Africa will be hosting their first demo day this Saturday 14 July at their dealership in South Road, Sandton.
They will have all their current models – all 12 of them – available as a demo and the event will start at 8:30 on Saturday morning running through until 13:00. The rides will run in 30 minute slots with three different routes available around the Sandton area. For people wanting to ensure that they get a go on their preferred model, pre-booking will be available by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
More so, there will also be breakfast and refreshments available, so Triumph has asked guests to kindly RSVP to email@example.com before Friday at 13;00.
It should be a fun day. We at The Bike Show have been long time Triumph fans, and there is more to this than two for the presenters being British. It’s very difficult to not have a soft spot for the Hinckley brand. They possess a very palpable “plucky Brit” attitude, conveyed through the medium of motorcycles that rival the Germans for build quality and rival the Italians for style and soul.
If you do not believe us, go to Triumph South Africa in Sandton on Saturday and find out for yourself.
