Suzuki Track Day: 330 motorcycles around Red Star for a good cause
Red Star Raceway near Johannesburg was certainly alive today for the Suzuki Track Day 2018. The big pull of this event was that is was open to all makes and styles of motorcycles, and the entry for the track day, which included a full day of riding, was just R50. To put this in perspective, a normal track day at Red Star is R550. More so, each R50 paid would go to Jacob’s Vision, an organisation that supplies guide dogs to blind people. This means that Suzuki was fitting the entire bill for the day.
Again, normal track days pull anywhere between 40 and 100 bikes. The really big ones might see 120 to 140 bikes, but such a turn-out is rare.
Today, at the Suzuki Track Day and despite thick clouds and the constant threat of rain, there were more than 330 bikes.
