Spend this Saturday riding at Red Star for just R50 thanks to Suzuki
This Saturday, 13 October 2018, is the Suzuki Track Day at Red Star Raceway near Delmas, about 80km outside of Johannesburg. It does sound like good fun, as there will be Suzuki demo bikes there for anyone to ride, braais going on and the good family fun that Suzuki has become famous for.
Riders briefing will be at 8:30 with the pitlane opening at 9, and the day will run according to the usual track day philosophy of various groups split according to rider pace, experience and comfort.
What makes it more interesting is that it is not open only to Suzukis, and anyone on any motorcycle type or make is welcome. More so, entry is just R50. No, you didn’t misread that – you can spend the entire day riding at Red Star on any bike you like for just R50. That’s a discount of 90% on the usual charge for a day at Red Star.
There’s more, because each R50 collected for the day will go to Jacob’s Vision, an organisation that helps provide guide dogs to blind people.
This means that Suzuki is fitting the bill for the entire day, and forcing entrants to be better people and give to a worthy cause.
The only problem is that space is limited and filling up quickly. To book your spot, kindly send an email to Red Star Raceway. You can find their email address here.
