Rhino Rally to move to Hartbeespoort
7 – 9 September 2018
Hartbeespoort Holiday resort
The rumours are true, this 37th Rhino is indeed moving to the Hartbeespoort Holiday Resort, home of the Impala Rally, Pretoria Toy Run, Blikkiesfees, Om Die Dam running race and thousands of holidaymakers throughout the year. This is after four years at the Parys Afridome in the quaint town of Parys in the Free State.
The venue change was met with many positive comments by the Impala Rally crowd on the weekend of 9-11 March, mostly citing the congenial atmosphere of a site that has been revamped and improved constantly since rally organiser Simon Fourie bought it 14 years ago.
The Rhino Rally will be six months after the Impala Rally, and will be different in many respects like the selection of bands and other stage entertainers and several other pursuits with new ideas being tossed around. We will keep you posted as updates are revealed.

The Rhino Rally was founded in 1976 and it’s well-earned slogan is “Everyone Goes To The Rhino” with it comfortably retaining its status as one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in South Africa, if not the biggest, and is earmarked as a must do every year for much of the biking community. See you there.
