Qatar MotoGP viewing at Rim & Rubber this Sunday

This Sunday the 18th March, MotoGP racing once again graces our televisions, and while sitting at home with a suitable beverage and some take-aways has its attraction, watching the first race of the year, with a crowd of fellow passionate aficionados that have been starved of their dose of MotoGP for the last three months, with a bar full of drinks and a whole menu on tap adds a certain extra enjoyment to the experience.
For this first race of the year, Rim & Rubber is pulling out all the stops, with extra large screen TVs, extra sound and extra staff for an all round joyous experience. More so, to celebrate, there will be a buffet style braai and the gorgeous Jack Daniels promo ladies helping quench thirsts.
The Moto3 race, where Darryn Binder will make his debut with the works Red Bull Ajo KTM team, starts at 3pm, Brad Binder, who is looking good on board the Red Bull KTM Moto2 machine and looks likely to be challenging for the title this year, starts at 4:20pm, and the big boys in MotoGP, the winner of which is impossible to predict and the racing looks like it’s going to be close, starts at 6pm.
The Qatar race happens famously under the floodlit lights, and three months of training, testing and preparation culminate in this moment when the red lights switch off and the racing begins. See everyone at Rim & Rubber for that precious moment.
