MRA offers riders the chance to “pay off” their track days
Moto Rider Academy, the famous Phakisa based track school, is offering their clients a new Loyalty Program whereby they can pay a monthly premium for track days instead of forking out the full sum every time they want to attend.
To qualify, riders must join the club for a measly fee of R200, and will then be charged R500 every month for a year. With this premium, riders will then be able to attend any six MRA track weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) for the year valued at R1250 each. The value here is that not only are riders paying a lesser fee every month instead of being hit the larger sum at once, but they will also pay a total of R6000 for the six events instead of the R7500 they would pay should they pay for each one individually.
MRA has been running for 15 years, and has developed a reputation as a fun, easygoing, friendly and family-orientated track school offering weekends of fun riding at the same circuit that saw Rossi take the iconic first Yamaha win in 2004. It is run by Phakisa stalwart Andre Neethling who is known for coming up with original ideas for his schools like this one, plus is the man who organises such events as the popular Phakisa 8 Hour, the hugely entertaining Phakisa Olympics and, in March this year, the Isle of Phakisa.
MRA is also an official Dunlop dealer, selling and fitting tyres at their track weekends for ridiculously cheap prices, and run their famous one-on-one Advanced Rider Training hosted by either Neethling or The Bike Show’s Donovan Fourie.
Their first track weekend of the year takes place on 27/28 January with events then happening every month for the rest of the year. Riders may attend their first of six track weekends the moment the R200 club joining fee is paid.
